Journeyman Fire Alarm Technician — Santa Rosa, CA

Overview

Seeking an experienced Journeyman Fire Alarm Technician to install, service, test, and maintain commercial and residential Fire/Life Safety Alarm Systems. This role offers long-term career growth, training, and advancement.

Location: Santa Rosa, CA (serving Sonoma, Napa, Marin & Southern Mendocino)

Key Responsibilities

• Install, program, service, and test Fire/Life Safety Alarm Systems
• Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm and low-voltage systems
• Provide professional onsite customer support
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance records
• Operate company vehicle for field assignments
• Assist with upgrades and project work

Required Qualifications

• California Fire/Life Safety Technician "Blue Card" certification
• WBFAA Graduated Apprentice or
• Passed Journeyman Exam (Accelerated path acceptable upon completion)
• 3+ years of fire alarm experience
• Experience installing/servicing Fire Life Safety Systems
• Eligible for BSIS ACE card
• Valid Driver's License with clean record
• Strong customer service, professionalism, and reliability

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Notifier, FCI Gamewell, Silent Knight, FireLite, Honeywell, DMP, AES Radio, Resideo
• Exposure to CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Alarms, Low-Voltage/IT Networking
• NICET certification
• Construction or project coordination experience
