VCA PetCare West is looking to expand its team with a new Clie nt Service Representative !

Location : 1370 Fulton Road, Santa Rosa Ca 95401

Schedule : Full-Time, Part-Time

Compensation: $ 19 - 22/hr depending on experience and skill sets

THE POSITION:

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Customer service functions,including:greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms

• Scheduling and confirming appointments

• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients

• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments

• Creating and presenting treatment plans based on the doctor's recommendations.

• Answering questionsregardingservices and cost

• Managing medical records, charts,reportsand correspondence

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least one year of provenpast experiencehelping clients in an animal hospital setting

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent

• Excellent listening and communication skills

• Compassion for pets and people-as well as awareness and understanding of others' reactions

• Proven decision-making skills to choose the mostappropriate courseof action

• The ability to integratenew informationinto problem-solving

• Proficiencyin Microsoft Office

• Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including nights,weekendsand holidays

• The ability tolift upto 40 lbs. and be exposed to hazards associated with pets such as allergies, contagious diseases, noises, odors, bites, scratches, and animal waste

• Compensation is negotiable based on education,experienceand other relevant credentials.The pay range for this position is $18 to $21 per hour.
