Job Summary

As the Beverage Operations Manager, you will lead the daily food and beverage operations across our lobby outlets, poolside service, and In-Room Dining (IRD). You will play a vital role in ensuring we exceed guest expectations by upholding Forbes Travel Guide service standards. This position requires strong leadership, a keen focus on operational excellence, and a flair for beverage innovation and presentation that aligns with the prestigious Napa Valley experience.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily food and beverage service operations to ensure seamless guest experiences across various outlets.
  • Lead and train team members in Forbes Travel Guide standards, fostering a culture of excellence and commitment to service.
  • Collaborate with culinary and beverage teams to create menus that reflect creativity, quality, and local Napa Valley influences.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to meet financial objectives while maintaining premium quality.
  • Create and manage employee schedules to ensure optimal staffing levels across all service outlets.
  • Conduct service audits and provide training focused on wine knowledge, mixology, and food pairing.
  • Address guest concerns swiftly and professionally, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Work alongside F&B leadership on special events, promotions, and seasonal offerings.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in all outlets.
  • Continuously seek to improve service processes to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field strongly preferred.
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience in food and beverage operations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food service, wine, spirits, and luxury guest expectations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate a diverse food and beverage team.
  • Proven financial acumen with budgeting, labor management, and cost-control experience.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with staff and guests at all levels.
  • Able to perform under pressure, manage conflicts, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, or move items weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity to oversee both bar and food operations.
  • Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor settings, including poolside.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate business needs.
