Shipping Technician

Shipping Technicians play a crucial role in the logistics process by picking and packing supplement products, handling up to 300 packages per day. The position requires standing for the entire shift and involves lifting or pushing weights of up to 50 pounds. The role is based in an FDA-approved facility, emphasizing a clean room atmosphere. Accuracy is prioritized over speed, although time management remains essential.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack supplement and vitamin orders accurately.
• Manage and operate computers at assigned stations for order confirmations and label creation.
• Handle lifting and pushing of packages up to 50 pounds.
• Empty two small carts per hour as part of the workflow.
• Ensure high attendance as part of a small team.
• Read and write emails using Microsoft Outlook.
• Utilize ERP software to manage shipping processes.
• Work within the guidelines of SOPs and GMPs for the Distribution Department.

Essential Skills

• Previous experience in picking or packing within a warehouse environment.
• Basic computer skills for order confirmation and label creation.
• Ability to lift and push up to 50 pounds.
• Attention to detail for accurate order processing.
• Familiarity with GMPs and SOPs.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with FedEx and USPS shipping procedures.
• Ability to scan and verify orders.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
