Be a key player in our dynamic team at Cinemark! As a Full-Time Theatre Assistant Manager, you will play an essential role in supporting the overall operations of our theaters.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow and align with the General Manager's directives.
  • Communicate and support the General Manager's decisions to the team.
  • Engage in various theatre departments and job functions.
  • Train and mentor Team Members in their specific roles.
  • Assist with creating administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
  • Conduct inspections of the theatre, including the building, parking lot, landscaping, and exterior signage.
  • Report any repair needs regarding buildings, properties, and equipment.
  • Uphold dress code and hospitality standards with guests.
  • Implement policies and procedures consistently and fairly.
  • Address employee relations issues following company protocols.
  • Utilize proper PPE and proactively handle safety concerns.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
  • Completion of Cinemark's Management Accreditation Program courses is beneficial.
  • Food handling training and relevant local/state permits are required.
  • Safe Alcohol Service training for relevant job functions.
  • Availability for a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Reliable and consistent attendance is essential.
  • Must have a friendly and energetic demeanor with outstanding guest service skills.
  • Ability to handle cash accurately and demonstrate strong math skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Work well in a team environment and independently.
  • Ability to follow instructions and act with urgency.
  • Strong time-management, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Capability to train and lead a team.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution.
Physical & Environmental Expectations
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Regularly standing, walking, and reaching.
  • Moderate to high noise levels in the environment.
  • Long periods of standing may be required.

Pay Range: $18.36 - $22.95 per hour.
