Position Overview:

The Janitorial Services Team Leader is essential in supporting daily operations by exemplifying cleaning standards, coordinating team efforts, and serving as the first point of contact for staff. This hands-on role requires maintaining clean and hygienic environments while setting a positive example for the team. Key responsibilities include:

• Setting the standard for cleaning quality, safety, and professionalism on-site.
• Performing cleaning duties using approved products, tools, and procedures.
• Safely and effectively using all cleaning equipment and products.
• Carrying out tasks such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, restroom cleaning, and window detailing.
• Communicating supply needs and site conditions to the supervisor or manager.

Physical Demands and Qualifications:

• Ability to stand, walk, push, kneel, twist, and reach continuously (up to 100%) during the shift.
• Capable of lifting and/or carrying up to 25 lbs.
• A strong work ethic with a keen willingness to learn.
• Flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• Contributing positively to the overall team effort, with punctuality and professionalism.
• Attention to detail, along with the ability to read and write effectively.
• Treating all co-workers and customers with courtesy and respect.
