Requirements:

  • 4-year college degree preferred
  • 4 years management experience required
  • Fitness management experience preferred
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required

Responsibilities:

  1. Administration & Organization:
    • Understand and apply all standard operating procedures for the club.
    • Communicate and implement policies effectively to the team.
    • Foster a productive team environment.
    • Make informed decisions swiftly.
    • Recruit and hire high-caliber staff.
  2. Sales & Revenue Management:
    • Lead and motivate the team to achieve sales goals.
    • Drive revenue goals through effective employee leadership.
    • Implement company promotions to increase membership growth.
    • Ensure effective communication of promotions to staff.
    • Promote community involvement among staff.
  3. Personal Training Management:
    • Lead the personal training department to achieve revenue targets.
    • Facilitate the integration of personal training products into sales presentations.
    • Oversee compliance in procedure for session management.
  4. Operations:
    • Coordinate club functions across departments.
    • Address member complaints efficiently and professionally.
    • Maintain a welcoming atmosphere focused on service quality.
    • Ensure club cleanliness, security, and safety standards are met.
  5. Financial Oversight:
    • Understand budgets and income statements.
    • Manage expenses to stay within budgetary limits.
    • Analyze revenue variances against budget.
  6. Leadership & Motivation:
    • Serve as a role model for staff.
    • Communicate effectively through regular meetings.
    • Foster an inspiring and feedback-friendly environment.
  7. Profit Center Development:
    • Drive revenue through personal training and retail services.
    • Monitor member engagement to enhance revenue.
  8. Meetings:
    • Conduct regular training and departmental meetings.
    • Participate in daily management coordination.
