What is AVID?
AVID is an elective class that helps prepare students for academic success and college readiness. AVID classes are during the regular school day.

What does an AVID Tutor do?
- AVID Tutors guide students toward academic and personal excellence that will reach far beyond their secondary school years.
- AVID Tutors are active participants in the learning, growth, and personal development of students with the goal of preparing students to successfully attend college.

Middle School sites that offer AVID Classes: Crystal Middle School, Grange Middle School, & Matt Garcia Career and College Academy.
