Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $70,000 to $85,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintaining the General Ledger.
Preparing Journal Entries per QuickBooks.
Printing month end financial statements: P&L, BS, and Detailed GL.
Reconcile and/or review Bank Account reconciliations and other accounts.
Perform weekly check run produced within QuickBooks and uploaded list to the bank for positive pay recognition using csv files.
Requirements:
2 - 5+ years of experience in Bookkeeping.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office Suite (Excel).
strong attention to detail, excellent numerical skills, knowledge of accounting principles (like GAAP).
Proficiency with accounting software.
The ability to manage accounts payable and receivable.
Qualifications:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
