This position involves handling empty wine bottles, repackaging them safely into cases, and supporting daily warehouse operations. Work is conducted on a lofted mobile platform, requiring comfort with heights and a consistent focus on safety.
Responsibilities
- Move empty wine bottles from pallets stacked 7 layers high and place them individually into wine cases.
- Remove and repack 3 layers per pallet, ensuring bottles are handled carefully to prevent breakage.
- Work from a lofted mobile working platform while maintaining balance, awareness, and safe body positioning.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Support general warehouse tasks as needed.
Essential Skills - Ability to stand, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working at height on a mobile platform.
- Ability to lift and move cases of bottles (up to 40-50 lbs).
- Reliable attendance and attention to detail with the ability to work at a steady, consistent pace.
Additional Skills & Qualifications - Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.
- Minimum height of 5'5" required for safe reach on the elevated platform.

Work Environment The work takes place in a warehouse environment with stacked pallets of glass bottles. Employees may be near heavy machinery, moving forklifts, and other hazards, but reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities. Safety gear, such as vests, glasses, and gloves, is provided. The dress code includes jeans without rips, comfortable shirts without tears, and non-slip shoes. While the environment might initially seem loud, it becomes manageable once you start working. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NAPA, CA.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
