Role Summary

Typhur Robotics is hiring a U.S. President & General Manager to own the U.S. business end-to-end. You will be the U.S. P&L owner and the operating leader across GTM strategy, marketing, sales, customer experience, fulfillment/3PL operations, and channel partnerships. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can build and scale a high-performance U.S. commercial organization while partnering closely with China HQ teams.

What You'll Own

U.S. P&L Ownership

  • Full responsibility for U.S. revenue, margin, and operating budget
  • Build forecasting, operating cadence, and KPI dashboards (growth, efficiency, CX, fulfillment)

GTM Strategy & Growth

  • Define the U.S. go-to-market strategy across Amazon, DTC, and retail/channel
  • Own launch plans, pricing/pack architecture (commercial side), promotions, and growth experiments
  • Build an educational narrative that upgrades customer understanding (from smart cooking tools ? kitchen robotics journey)

Marketing (U.S.)

  • Performance marketing and funnel optimization (creative, landing pages, conversion, attribution)
  • Retail media / Amazon ads strategy, content, and store optimization
  • Brand positioning execution in the U.S. market (messaging consistency with Typhur Robotics)
  • Community, creators/influencers, PR coordination (as needed)

Sales & Channel Partnerships (U.S.)

  • Own revenue across key channels: Amazon, DTC, retail/distributors, strategic partners
  • Negotiate and manage partner programs, account plans, and joint growth initiatives
  • Build and lead a lean but scalable U.S. sales organization (internal + agencies)

Customer Experience (U.S.)

  • Own end-to-end customer journey: support, warranty, returns/exchanges, reviews/ratings
  • Build CX metrics and workflows that reduce returns, improve NPS, and drive repeat purchase
  • Establish "voice of customer" loop to inform HQ (without owning product development)

Operations: Fulfillment & 3PL (U.S.)

  • Lead U.S. fulfillment strategy: 3PL selection/management, SLAs, cost control, inventory allocation
  • Own reverse logistics and returns operations; improve reliability and speed
  • Partner with China supply chain/HQ planning teams for forecasting and replenishment alignment

Team & Leadership

  • Hire, lead, and develop a high-performing U.S. team (marketing, sales, CX, ops)
  • Manage agencies/vendors and build a disciplined operating system (weekly/monthly business reviews)

Qualifications

Must-have

  • 12+ years in consumer, e-commerce, marketplace, or adjacent GTM leadership roles
  • Proven P&L ownership and ability to drive topline growth + operational excellence
  • Deep experience across at least two of: Amazon marketplaceDTCretail/channel partnerships
  • Strong cross-functional leadership: marketing + sales + CX + ops (3PL/fulfillment)
  • Exceptional execution + analytical rigor (metrics-driven, test-and-learn mindset)
  • Fluent English; fluent Mandarin Chinese (business/professional level) — must be able to operate in both languages with U.S. teams and China HQ
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high ambiguity; hands-on operator

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in consumer hardware / appliances / smart home / robotics-adjacent categories
  • Experience at high-scale organizations (e.g., Amazon/Google/Meta) and in startup/scale-up environments
  • Strong Amazon retail media / marketplace growth playbook
  • Experience building a U.S. business from early stage to scale
