The Time Is Now! Button Transportation is actively recruiting for the 2026 Fertilizer Season.
As a seasonal driver for the agri-business support team, you will deliver liquid and dry fertilizer products to farms during the planting season (Mid-March to June 2026). After the fertilizer season, we roll right into Harvest. No need to make plans to go elsewhere; we have you covered.

Compensation

• Seasonal drivers average $1,000 - $1,800 per week. Experienced Motivated drivers can make more.
• Number of loads: 1-6 per day. The average is 3-5, depending on the customer
• Paid weekly

• In the event that no opportunities are available, you will be eligible for unemployment benefits
• Paid orientation and Cargo Tank training! - Full day in the classroom and 3-5 days in the field.
• Button hires out of school! Given Button's highly diversified service offerings, entry-level drivers can expand their skills throughout the year by carrying various products and using different equipment, accelerating their careers.

• Home time every night
• Work is available 7 days a week typical work schedule is 5-6 days a week, more is often available as hours of service allows
• Deliver directly to retail stores and the fields
• Support the agri-business planting season by making liquid and dry fertilizer deliveries in a Cargo tank truck from mid-March through June 2026
• No touch freight, being a cargo tank, connect hose, open product valves, monitor the loading and unloading

• Must have a valid CDL A License
• Non-Hazmat 18 years old, 21 years old for Hazmat
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public, understand highway signs, and complete reports, per 49 CFR § 391.11(b)(2)
• Have the legal right to work and live in the United States
• New drivers welcome. We can help you get your new career started
• Endorsements: Tanker/Hazmat/Doubles. Willing to work with drivers ready to obtain before the season starts
• Good MVR and safe driving record, including no BACs, DUIs, DWIs, or licensing suspensions for moving violations in the past 5 years
• Ability to meet work attendance and availability requirements and pass all CFI certification class testing and requirements
• Prefer to hire within a 50-mile radius of Dixon, CA
