About the Role

We're looking for a highly operational and systems-focused leader to transform how our warehouse planning and fulfilment functions operate.

This role sits at the center of our outbound operation—owning the journey from confirmed order through to delivery—and ensuring planning, warehouse execution, and system logic are fully aligned to meet customer commitments.

It partners closely with Warehouse Operations but is not responsible for day-to-day warehouse management, instead focusing on planning, systems, and operational improvement.

You'll play a key role in improving workflows, fixing legacy system challenges, and building a more scalable, efficient fulfilment operation following a recent system migration.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys fixing broken processes, improving systems, and making operations run smoothly at scale.

This is a 12-month contract role, based on-site at our Napa, CA warehouse, reporting to the Head of Customer Success.

What You'll Do

Own Outbound Planning & Delivery Execution

• Lead daily planning and scheduling of outbound orders
• Prioritize orders based on customer commitments
• Coordinate picking and dispatch with warehouse operations
• Ensure no confirmed orders are missed
• Identify and escalate risks early

Bridge Operations, Customer Experience & Systems

• Act as the link between warehouse, Customer Experience, and engineering teams
• Ensure fulfilment plans and system logic align with customer commitments
• Provide visibility on order status and delivery risks
• Drive proactive communication to prevent customer issues

Drive Operational Transformation

• Identify inefficiencies in warehouse workflows and picking processes
• Implement improvements to reduce errors and operational friction
• Solve root causes of recurring operational issues
• Support long-term automation and scalability

Improve Systems & Data Integrity

• Ensure accurate order, inventory, and fulfilment data in WMS (e.g. Produmex)
• Resolve legacy system and inventory structure issues
• Improve system logic for prioritization and dispatch planning
• Partner with engineering to fix data and workflow issues

Manage Fulfilment Risks & Exceptions

• Monitor orders for stock or fulfilment risks
• Resolve inventory and availability issues
• Escalate risks impacting delivery commitments
• Ensure issues are identified and addressed early

What We're Looking For

• Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or fulfilment environments
• Strong understanding of outbound planning and workflow management
• Experience with WMS platforms (e.g. Produmex, NetSuite)
• Ability to diagnose system and data issues and work with technical teams
• Strong cross-functional coordination skills
• Highly organized with strong prioritization ability
• Proactive problem-solver who identifies risks early
• Experience driving process or systems improvements preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
