A healthcare facility in Richmond, CA is seeking a skilled Mammographer to join their team on a travel assignment. This role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in mammography and contribute to patient care in a dynamic hospital environment. Immediate availability is required to meet the facility's urgent need.
Responsibilities:
- Perform mammographic imaging, including tomosynthesis (Tomo) procedures.
- Utilize 3D stereotactic breast biopsy techniques (if trained).
- Maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure accurate imaging results.
- Adhere to departmental protocols and quality control measures.
- Current CRT(M) and ARRT(M) certifications are mandatory.
- Demonstrated proficiency in tomosynthesis (Tomo) imaging.
- 3D stereotactic breast biopsy training strongly preferred.
- Ability to work 8 or 10-hour daytime shifts, with occasional Saturdays.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to assignment start.
- Flexibility to respond to up to 36 hours of on-call coverage during the assignment.
- Daytime shifts, 8 or 10 hours.
- Some Saturdays may be required.
- The hospital reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts within the 13-week contract.
