Our client in the San Francisco Bay area has an immediate opening. Hybrid 3 days per week in the office. Salary is up to $175K plus 20% Bonus, Paid Pension and Matching 401K plan. Relocation assistance offered.

This role will help improve efficiencies, supplier performance, communication, and collaboration. The Principal Program Manager manages vendor relationships, provides direction to external partners, and collaborates with internal teams to develop and execute program strategies.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with colleagues across the organization to support demand planning and develop category plans, helping develop LOB strategies, and assisting with supplier management. This role works closely with both the Line of Business (LOB), Strategic Sourcing, and Materials. Strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders ensures continuous improvement and long-term program success.

Job Responsibilities

• May manage major cross-functional projects and initiatives.
• Leads development of program goals and metrics to meet company goals and objectives. Collaborates across organization to ensure alignment of goals to support program
• Responsible for utilizing other departments and teams to meet program goals.
• Organize and lead cross-utility project teams to influence utility, regulatory and/or industry decisions
• Solves unique and complex problems, anticipating issues and developing innovative solutions.
• Drives cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders in Finance, IT, Operations, and Business Units to ensure procurement initiatives align with enterprise priorities.
• Integrates industry knowledge related to data into everyday business practices and decision making

Qualifications

• College Degree and 8+ years experience in procurement, strategic program management
• Experience in Vegetation Management
• Ability to use understanding of the business to help drive strategic decision making, and to recommend operational improvements
• Ability to influence leaders inside and outside of the department through data analysis, insights, and recommendations
