Description:

Position Summary ProAmpac is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Associate to join our finance team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the financial integrity of our flexible packaging manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will ensure accurate billing, diligent account management, and effective collaboration across departments to support the company's broader financial objectives. Essential Duties and Tasks Post Cash Receipts against open accounts receivable on a daily basis and review postings for accuracy. Prepare and distribute customer invoices with a high degree of precision. Reconcile amounts due by verifying invoices against purchase orders and supporting documentation. Maintain accurate accounting records by processing invoices, credits, and adjustments within the system. Research and resolve customer billing inquiries and discrepancies in a timely manner. Generate, update, and analyze AR reports and key metrics to support management decisions. Maintain comprehensive credit information and customer files. Proactively manage past-due accounts and execute recovery efforts to minimize delinquency. Collaborate effectively with finance, leadership, sales, customer service, and shipping departments to streamline processes. Address operational issues and perform other financial duties as assigned. Qualifications, Education, and Experience Education: High School diploma or GED required. Experience: 1-2 years of relevant accounting or financial experience. Technical Proficiency: Solid working knowledge of accounting processes, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio, Teams, and Outlook. Mathematical Aptitude: Ability to perform calculations related to discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, and basic volume measurements. Professionalism: Maintains strict confidentiality and upholds the privacy of sensitive financial information. Communication: Demonstrates professional verbal and written communication skills suitable for interacting with executive leadership, internal staff, and external clients. Execution: Highly organized with exceptional time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment. Judgment: A proactive, self-motivated professional capable of identifying operational challenges and independently developing logical solutions.
