Project Manager - ERP Implementation

Description:

Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for leading large-scale, complex enterprise ERP initiatives across Finance, HR, and Supply Chain Systems. This role owns the full project lifecycle, from planning and design through implementation and post-go-live support, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, budget, and quality. The position works closely with campus, health, and executive stakeholders in a highly complex administrative systems environment, with a strong preference for experience delivering implementations on Oracle ERP platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of major ERP re-implementation programs and related integrations, with a primary focus on Oracle ERP solutions.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and deliverables across large, multi-workstream programs.
  • Direct large, cross-functional, and multi-institutional project teams, including functional leads, technical teams, and vendors.
  • Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, HR, IT, and vendor stakeholders to meet current and future business needs.
  • Drive project governance, executive-level status reporting, change management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Identify and resolve complex technical, functional, and organizational risks and dependencies.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to other project managers and project leads.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing large-scale enterprise application projects.
  • Demonstrated leadership of organization-wide ERP implementations.
  • Strong expertise in project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Experience with ERP platforms such as Oracle (preferred), PeopleSoft, or Workday.
  • Hands-on experience delivering ERP Finance and/or Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives in higher education or healthcare environments.
  • Strong executive-level communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep experience leading Oracle ERP implementations, particularly within Finance or Supply Chain domains.
  • PMP or similar project management certification.
  • Experience with cloud-based ERP deployments and related infrastructure or hosting initiatives.
  • Advanced knowledge of data, reporting, and enterprise systems architecture.
