Vice President of Training & Development

Location: Napa or Santa Rosa, CA (Onsite)

We're partnering with a highly respected, community-focused financial institution seeking a Vice President of Training & Development to lead organizational development and learning initiatives across the organization. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for building and executing strategies that drive employee engagement, leadership development, and a strong, people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and execute enterprise-wide training and leadership development strategies
  • Partner with senior leadership to align development initiatives with business goals
  • Build and scale comprehensive learning programs, including leadership and career development
  • Establish metrics to measure program effectiveness and organizational impact
  • Oversee budgeting, vendor partnerships, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Foster a culture of growth, engagement, and high performance

What You Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in training, organizational development, or related field
  • Proven leadership experience, ideally within a financial institution or regulated environment
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to influence at the executive level
  • Experience building programs from the ground up (e.g., "university-style" training)
  • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills

Compensation:

  • $174K – $194K base (DOE) + comprehensive benefits package
