A fast-growing AI company hiring a Commercial Counsel to support complex technology transactions across AI, data, SaaS, cloud, infrastructure and strategic partnerships.

This is a commercial technology role paying between $180k–$250k base + equity, sitting close to product, engineering, sales, partnerships and leadership. The work covers customer agreements, platform deals, vendor and infrastructure contracts, data use, AI-related commercial terms, licensing, security/privacy input, and scalable templates/playbooks.

Target profile:

• California or New York qualified lawyer
• 4–10 years' legal experience
• Current or recent in-house commercial/technology counsel experience at a technology company
• Strong technology transactions background from a recognised law firm highly preferred
• Experience with SaaS, cloud, data, AI, platform, infrastructure, fintech, developer tools or enterprise software
• Comfortable negotiating complex commercial agreements directly with sophisticated customers and counterparties
• Able to work with a San Francisco-based team 4-5 days a week

Useful: AI product exposure, open source, IP licensing, privacy/data security, regulated technology or strategic partnership experience.
