Description:

Napa Music Hall is Napa's newest live music and arts venue in downtown Napa. Located in the historic Napa Valley Opera House the venue has been reimagined into two spaces. Upstairs, The Ballroom is a 650 person capacity venue ideal for high energy performances and live events. Below, The Club is a 160 person seated space that will host Jazz, Blues, acoustic music, comedy and more suited to the intimate space. Under new management in 2026 Napa residents and visitors can expect headliner and emerging artists to grace the rooms.

Individual must direct and manage the daily operations of the kitchen, providing professional leadership and training to the kitchen employees to ensure that all food maintains the company's high standards of food quality & service.

Candidates should have the following criteria:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on kitchen management/supervisory experience
  • Knowledgeable in menu planning & execution for both day-to-day, exceptionally high-volume food service as well as high end events catering
  • Able to effectively lead, supervise, train, schedule and evaluate kitchen staff
  • Must have superior knowledge of purchasing, managing inventory, controlling food and labor costs and upholding sanitation regulations
  • Continuously on top of presentation
  • Passionate about high quality food and service
  • Diligent, detail-oriented, responsible and resourceful
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced and diverse team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and maintain company relationships with respect
  • Must have a California Food Handlers Manager Certification

Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure all policies, procedures and systems are completed that maintain recipes and presentation standard for food and beverage
  • Execute all menu items and train the employees on how to properly execute and follow recipes
  • Determine daily prep needs
  • Proactively evaluate and uphold all company food safety and handling standards
  • Guarantee a high level of cleanliness throughout the kitchen
  • Payroll analysis
  • Conduct weekly and end of month inventory counts
  • Conduct weekly ordering
  • Create work schedules for kitchen staff
  • Seek and hire quality employees
  • Other duties as assigned to meet business needs

Looking for an individual who can exhibit efficiency in completing job requirements, work with a sense of urgency, delegate and empower others while managing daily responsibilities.

Must be computer literate. Word, Excel and email.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $71,000.00 - $85,000.00 (annually depending on experience)
