Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* Prepare menu items according to Johnny Carino's recipes, plate presentations and specifications within cook time requirements* Read food order slips or receive verbal instructions as to food required by Guest and prepare and cook food according to instructions* Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as ovens, stoves, and dishwashers* Complete all assigned prep work* Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times* Set up work station* Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects* Be a core team member in a fast-paced kitchenQualifications and Skills:* Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age* Previous Line Cook or cooking experience preferredPhysical Demands:* Must have the ability to lift pots, pans, etc., up to 50 pounds in weight* Ability to place plates, utensils, pans and cases on high and low shelves* Mobility required during the entire shift* Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to eight (8) hours in lengthWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer
