We believe that together, we can conquer any challenge and achieve remarkable victories./ppPrinciple Accountabilities/ppITS has an urgent need for a Terminal Coordinator for our largest customers facilities in Richmond. This role contributes to the daily activities for dock operations in support of the customers terminal in which they are domiciled. Responsibilities include ensuring drivers meet safety requirements to meet our customer service requirements./ppResponsibilities include but are not limited to:/pulliEnsure drivers adhere to terminal flow on site./liliWork collaboratively with drivers to ensure on time arrival and departures./liliMonitor trailer pool to proactively escalate equipment shortages./liliComplete safety checklists for every load entering and departing the facility./liliInteract with facility staff, drivers, and ITS team members in a professional and respectful manner./liliEscalate all safety violations to ITS Reno Center leadership./liliCommunicate safety expectations to drivers and team members proactively./liliVerify all information on paperwork is correct./liliUpdate applicable systems with the most up to date information for the team to have visibility and transparency of operations./li/ulpPosition Requirements/pulliExperience in fleet, transportation, warehouse operations or third-party logistics strongly desired./liliExcellent communication skills./liliExcellent interpersonal and relationship building skills with a demonstrated ability to work harmoniously with customers, drivers, peers./liliHas a strong sense of urgency and reacts and works well in fast-paced, deadline driven, and high-pressure situations; remains calm and performs well in stressful or emergency situations./liliStrong work ethic and internally motivated to exceed all commitments and requirements of the position./liliKnowledge of the region and surrounding areas./li/ulpCompensation/pp$24 - $26 per hour - DOE/p/div
