This role requires close collaboration with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of patient care.The ideal candidate is an experienced, compassionate clinician with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered approach.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and lifestyle evaluationDesign, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom prosthetic and orthotic devices based on patient needs and physician prescriptionsEducate patients and caregivers on proper use, care, and maintenance of devicesCollaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate careMaintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory standardsPartner with administrative and operations staff to ensure efficient care deliveryStay current with industry advancements, technologies, and continuing education requirementsEnsure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and certification standards (ABC/BOC)QualificationsCurrent ABC or BOC certification as aCertified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO)orCertified Orthotist (CO)Ability to obtain and maintain state licensure as required3–5 years of clinical experience preferredBachelor's or Master's degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics from an accredited programStrong foundation in anatomy, biomechanics, and material scienceRequired Skills & CompetenciesStrong clinical and technical knowledge in orthotics and prostheticsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approachAbility to explain complex concepts in a clear and supportive mannerStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsProficiency in fabrication techniques and familiarity with CAD/CAM technologyAbility to work both independently and within a collaborative team environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detail**Salary range $85K - $120K will be determined based on candidate's skills, experience, knowledge, geographic location, and other variables.Company provides equal employment opportunities to applicants and employees without regard to race; color; sex; religious practices and observances; national origin; pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions; status as a protected veteran or spouse/family member of a protected veteran; or disability.All offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation, reference checks, and verification of essential licensure or certification.
