Aerotek - - Responsibilities: Machine parts for rotating equipment such as pumps, shafts, couplings, rings, cases, turbines, and valves using manual mills and lathes; Set up manual mills and lathes, including selecting appropriate tooling, aligning workpieces, and configuring machine parameters for each job; Operate manual lathes and mills to produce parts to specification, maintaining tolerances down to two thousandths of an inch; Use presses and grinders, including end mills and other tooling, to perform finishing operations and achieve required surface quality and dimensions; Inspect machined parts during and after production to verify dimensions and tolerances, making adjustments to setups or processes as needed
