Senior AccountantLocation: Fairfield, CA (Fully Onsite)Type: Full-Time | Direct HireCompensation: $95-100k + benefitsOverviewA reputable food manufacturing organization with multiple operating entities is seeking a Senior Accountant to play a key role in month-end close, reconciliations, and financial oversight. This role partners closely with the Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, and Controller and is well-suited for someone who enjoys ownership, structure, and long-term growth.The Senior Accountant will support multiple business lines, including manufacturing and consumer-facing operations, within a lean and collaborative accounting team.Month-End Close & Financial AccountingLead and support month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliationsPrepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations on an ongoing basisAssist with financial reporting and variance analysisOversight & ReviewReview AR and AP aging reports and flag issues proactivelyPrepare weekly payment runs and partner with the Assistant ControllerProvide guidance and support to junior accounting staff as neededMulti-Entity & SystemsSupport accounting across multiple legal entities and operating unitsWork within a manufacturing-focused ERP system to ensure accurate financial dataIdentify opportunities for process improvement and efficiencyGrowth & LeadershipServe as a key right-hand support to the Accounting ManagerOpportunity to grow into broader leadership responsibilities over timeQualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance5–8+ years of progressive accounting experienceStrong general ledger and reconciliation experienceHands‑on involvement in month‑end closeProficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting systemsPreferredExperience in manufacturing or cost‑center environmentsExposure to multi‑entity accountingPrior experience reviewing or mentoring other accountants#J-18808-Ljbffr
