U‑Haul seeks friendly, motivated individuals to serve as the face of our customer service team, providing exceptional service via inspection, maintenance, and dispatch of equipment.ResponsibilitiesAssist customers inside and outside a U‑Haul center with products and services.Use smartphone‑based U‑Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.Move and hook up U‑Haul trucks and trailers.Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, checking fluid levels and ensuring readiness.Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.Prepare rental invoices and accept returned equipment.Install hitches and trailer wiring.Fill propane tanks (certification offered through U‑Haul upon employment).Operate forklift (certification offered through U‑Haul upon employment).Other duties as assigned.Participate in ongoing training through U‑Haul University.Minimum QualificationsValid driver's license with a clean driving record.High school diploma or equivalent.Work Environment & Physical DemandsThe work involves moderate risks and requires protective gear.
