LED lighting is in its infancy and Vode is extremely well positioned to shape the future of the industry.Job DescriptionVerifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment: Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.Determines method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.Handle incoming and outgoing shipments by checking them physicallyCheck products for defects and accuracyEnsure posting of outbound deliveries using pre-designated softwareHandle packaging procedures to ensure safety of shipmentEnsure that product code and paperwork match the productPull, pack and ship finished goodsProcess customers' orders by ensuring that the right shipment is on its wayHandle shipment receiving duties by ensuring the right item has been deliveredReport and replace any defective item prior to packingPrepare and paste labels on shipmentsPrepare invoices and delivery ordersEnsure that all transactions are recorded in company databaseVerify accuracy of orders by matching them with quantities and typesEnsure that items are properly packed and labeledMake sure that items are loaded onto shipment vehicle in a safe and timely mannerOperate forklift to transport shipments from the storage area to the palletHandle space arrangements for incoming shipments in the storage areasEnsure that the warehouse is cleaned and maintained at all timesHandle daily cycle counting of assigned areasHandle year-end and general inventory proceduresQualificationsHS DiplomaHigh Organization and Communication SkillsProficient with Gmail, GoogleDocs, Excel and WordExperience with ERP/MRP systemsMust be local to the Sonoma County areaAdditional InformationTrainingYou will be trained on the specifics of Vode's lighting systems, relevant internal systems, and the construct of the lighting industry and constituents we serve.Benefits and CompensationHourly positionVacation and sick leaveYearly bonusHealth and Dental plans401K plan with matching funds#J-18808-Ljbffr
