Production & Supply Chain Inventory Coordinator

Coordinate inventory, production planning, shipping, and logistics to support manufacturing operations. This role partners with production, R&D, and quality teams to ensure materials are available, schedules stay on track, and products are shipped accurately and on time.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory of raw materials, components, packaging, and finished goods.
  • Coordinate shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions for domestic and international shipments.
  • Create and maintain production schedules based on demand and operational priorities.
  • Stage materials and support production operations to ensure schedule adherence.
  • Prepare shipping documentation and oversee outbound logistics.
  • Support product launches, pilot runs, and validation activities.
  • Maintain accurate inventory, production, and shipment records in ERP systems.
  • Perform cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Partner with manufacturing, R&D, quality, and clinical teams to align priorities and timelines.
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory, planning, and logistics processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in inventory control, supply chain, production planning, or manufacturing operations.
  • Experience managing inventory, scheduling, shipping, and logistics activities.
  • Proficiency with ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Knowledge of shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, and cycle counting.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work on the production floor as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in manufacturing, biotech, medical device, food production, or other regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with import/export documentation and international shipping.
  • Experience with RF scanners and warehouse technology.
  • Experience in production planning, materials coordination, or logistics roles.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vacaville, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
