JOB SUMMARY:The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, comfort, and overall satisfaction of guests by maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms in the hotel. This role plays a crucial part in providing a positive guest experience and upholding the hotel's standards of cleanliness and service excellence specifically in guestroom areas. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Clean and prepare guest rooms to hotel standards, including making beds, changing linens, and dustingVacuum, mop, and sanitize floorsClean and disinfect bathrooms, fixtures, and surfacesReplace amenities, towels, and linens as neededReport any maintenance or repair issues in guest rooms to the Housekeeping SupervisorGreet guests with a friendly and courteous demeanor when encounteredRespond promptly to guest requests related to guest rooms and ensure their comfort during their stayReport lost and found items in guest rooms to the Housekeeping SupervisorMaintain stock of cleaning supplies and amenities in the housekeeping cartReport low inventory levels to the Housekeeping Supervisor for replenishmentEnsure that each guest room is properly cleaned, organized, and free of any discrepanciesInspect guest rooms for cleanliness and adherence to standards before guest check-in REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferredStrong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standardsAbility to work independently and efficientlyExcellent customer service and communication skillsPhysical ability to lift, push, and pull cleaning equipment and perform cleaning tasksAbility to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed The Estate Yountville offers an attractive compensation and benefits package and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team.
