You will also coordinate outbound shipments and help ensure completed equipment reaches customers accurately, safely, and on schedule.This is a hands-on position that requires organization, accuracy, safe material handling, and the ability to work comfortably around industrial equipment and large, custom-built assemblies.What You'll DoReceive & Inspect MaterialsReceive mechanical components, electrical parts, hardware, raw materials, and other items used in the production of automation equipment and control panelsOpen crates, boxes, and other shipping containers and inspect incoming materials for quantity, condition, and accuracyCompare incoming materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and other receiving documentationRecord quantities received and complete required receiving and inventory documentationIdentify and properly label materials so they can be easily located and accurately trackedManage Inventory & MaterialsRead build packets, bills of material (BOMs), pick lists, and work orders to determine the materials needed for productionMove incoming materials from receiving to the appropriate stock, staging, or assembly areasOrganize mechanical components, electrical parts, fasteners, hardware, and other materials in racks, shelves, bins, and designated storage locationsMaintain accurate inventory locations and ensure materials are stored in an organized mannerPick components and hardware from inventory to fulfill production build requirementsStage materials for manufacturing and relocate completed equipment as production needs changeStage & Ship Finished EquipmentMove completed machines, robotic workcells, control panels, and other assemblies to designated holding or shipping areasPrepare finished equipment and materials for shipment, ensuring they are properly identified, protected, packaged, and ready for carrier pickupCoordinate inbound and outbound shipments with freight carriersSchedule carrier pickups, confirm delivery windows, and track shipmentsVerify shipping documentation and ensure orders are shipped accurately and on timei>Safely handle large or crated equipment using appropriate material handling equipmentMaintain a Safe, Organized OperationOperate and properly care for forklifts and other material handling equipment, as authorized and trainedKeep shipping, receiving, inventory, and staging areas clean, organized, accessible, and safeProtect company equipment, inventory, tools, and other assets from damage or lossFollow all company health, safety, and environmental requirementsSupport other warehouse, shipping, receiving, and manufacturing activities as neededWhat You BringHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, inventory, material handling, or manufacturingForklift experience preferredExperience working with industrial equipment, electrical components, mechanical parts, or manufacturing materials is a plusAbility to read and follow BOMs, pick lists, work orders, packing slips, and shipping documentationStrong attention to detail and a commitment to inventory and shipping accuracyAbility to communicate effectively with coworkers, carriers, and other internal teamsAbility to work independently, stay organized, and prioritize multiple material and shipping needsAbility to safely operate material handling equipment after appropriate trainingPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workdayAbility to regularly lift, move, and carry materials weighing up to 50 poundsAbility to safely move larger or heavier equipment using appropriate material handling equipmentAbility to safely climb into and out of the back of trucks and shipping vehiclesAbility to work safely around manufacturing equipment, materials, crates, and large assembliesBenefits401(k)401(k) matchingHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountLife insurancePaid time offPaid holidaysPay Range: $24-$29 per hour#J-18808-Ljbffr
