Maintenance Supervisor

Lead a Team. Keep the Plant Running Smoothly.

We're looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of maintenance technicians in a manufacturing plant. Your job is to help keep machines running, make sure repairs are completed, and support your team in working safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and support a team of maintenance technicians.
  • Assign repair work and make sure important issues are handled first.
  • Help troubleshoot machine and equipment problems.
  • Improve preventive maintenance programs to reduce breakdowns.
  • Schedule work for maintenance employees and outside contractors.
  • Work with the parts storeroom to make sure needed supplies are available.
  • Promote safety, teamwork, and accountability.
  • Make sure employees follow safety rules and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.
  • Help improve processes and keep the plant running efficiently.
  • Assist other maintenance areas when needed.
What We're Looking For
  • At least 5 years of experience leading maintenance teams in manufacturing, industrial, or refinery environments.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge. Electrical experience is a plus.
  • Experience training, coaching, and developing employees.
  • Knowledge of vibration analysis, oil analysis, and NDT (Non-Destructive Testing).
  • Experience using maintenance software such as SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
  • Basic to advanced Microsoft Office and Outlook skills.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays when needed.
Preferred Experience
  • Food manufacturing or food processing experience.
  • Maintenance planning and scheduling experience.
  • Experience managing preventive maintenance programs and parts inventory.

Schedule
  • Monday through Friday
  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Occasional overtime as needed
  • Every fourth week, you'll work a night shift:
    • 6:30 PM to 3:00 AM
    • 4 consecutive nights

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Crockett, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $44.50 - $53.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
