At Aldenbridge, we pride ourselves with building great teams and technology platforms in order to provide our customers with first class service.Job DescriptionAn opportunity exists for a class C driver in a dynamic wine & spirits logistics operation.This position will be responsible for assembling and loading customer orders onto a vehicle to complete delivery cycle, maintaining accurate route records, ensuring customer satisfaction with order fulfillment, product quality, complying with company safety standards, state and federal regulations, and warehouse delivery procedures.This position reports to the Napa warehouse manager.Job ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a class C vehicle (e.g. refrigerated box truck) in order to pick up orders from suppliers or make deliveries.Perform daily pre and post-trip inspectionsVerify all loads to ensure full and accurate customer deliveriesSecurely load and unload vehicle for multi-stop deliveriesMaintain interior of vehicle organized and cleanMonitor refrigeration on vehicle on a consistent basis to ensure safetyRoute plan, follow delivery schedule, and adjust planned drives to manage delays as necessaryUse our TMS system on a mobile device to update delivery status and capture PODsReport to the Warehouse manager any incidents, accidents, injuries, traffic violations, or property damageProvide high quality level of service at delivery location and resolve customer concerns regarding spoilage, breakage, and incorrect product deliveryProvide customers with invoices, obtain delivery signatures, and collect accounts receivable as necessaryAdhere to applicable regulatory requirements and guidelines including but not limited to DOT, FMCSA, and FDOTWork overtime as neededPerform other work related duties as assignedSkills and QualificationsMust have a valid state issued driver's licenseMust have a clean driving recordMinimum of 1 year experience of route delivery or similar environmentMust know how to operate a lift gateMust know how to use and fill out hours of service logsMust be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a DOT Medical CertificateMust be able to lift 40 poundsStrong time-management, interpersonal communication, attention to detail, and customer service skillsRegular, reliable, predictable attendanceAbility to apply basic math skills with or without calculatorKnowledge of area and an ability to operate GPS technology/appsUse safe lifting and loading techniques including ability to push and lift items with varying degrees of weightPrevious delivery and distribution experience in the food and beverage industry preferred#J-18808-Ljbffr
