Warehouse Associate Job Location:Fairfield, California Job Type:Temp to hire Pay Rate:$20-$21/hour Schedule:Monday - Friday; 6am-2:30pm (Day) or 2pm - 10:30pm (Swing) Description of Position:Do you have experience as a Warehouse Associate and enjoy keeping inventory organized and accurate? Our client is seeking dependable Warehouse Associates to support daily warehouse operations across day and swing shifts. Working under the supervision of the Lead and Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate will help ensure inventory is properly received, handled, labeled, stored, picked, packaged, and accounted for. This role is a great fit for someone who is organized, detail oriented, comfortable working with inventory, and able to work effectively in a busy warehouse environment. Available shifts: Day Shift & Swing Shift Job Responsibilities:Unload incoming deliveries and stage materials for receiving inspection or put awayFollow FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures when issuing inventoryPerform inventory cycle counts and help maintain accurate inventory recordsAssist warehouse, shipping, and receiving personnel with daily activities as neededProperly handle, label, package, and account for inventory and materialsUse computer systems and databases to enter, update, and research information Description of Company:You will be supporting a well-established aerospace company in Fairfield, California. Experience Required:High school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum 1 year of warehouse experience preferredPrevious experience supporting a manufacturing environment is a plusFamiliarity with computer systems, including Microsoft OfficeExperience with database systems such as FileMaker Pro and AX is preferredStrong data entry and organizational skillsAbility to operate a pallet jack and forkliftDependable, safety conscious, and comfortable working as part of a team Physical Requirements:Must be capable of lifting up to 50 poundsAbility to safely perform warehouse activities including unloading, stocking, picking, and moving inventoryAbility to maintain a neat, orderly, and safe work environmentComfortable working in an active warehouse setting Similar Positions:Warehouse ClerkProduction AssociateMaterial HandlerOrder Picker / Puller Associate Bolt Staffing is an equal opportunity employer.
