Parking Lot Driver

$17.00 per hour

Are you a safe and dependable driver looking for a stable opportunity? We are currently hiring Parking Lot Drivers in Benicia, CA . In this role, you will safely move and stage vehicles throughout the yard while performing inspections and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform pre-movement vehicle inspections, checking for:

• Visible damage

• Tire inflation

• Safety hazards

• Overall vehicle readiness

• Verify VIN numbers against work orders as needed.

• Ensure protective materials such as seat covers and floor mats are properly installed.

• Document inspection results and complete required paperwork.

• Safely drive vehicles throughout the yard while following speed limits and safety protocols.

• Shuttle vehicles between staging areas, processing bays, transport lines, and designated locations.

• Park vehicles according to company standards.

• Accurately complete movement records and vehicle processing documentation.

• Follow all company policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and ISO requirements.

• Report vehicle defects, safety concerns, and irregularities immediately.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions .

• Ability to follow procedures and work independently.

Work Environment

• Outdoor work in all weather conditions.

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and driving.

• Exposure to moving vehicles and yard traffic.

• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
